Jeanette Rodriguez (center) won the 2009 North American Grappling Association World Cup.
(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - Former Pan American Games medalist Jeanette Rodriguez (Coral Springs, Fla. / USA Judo National Training Site at North Miami) fought in a different forum this weekend when she won the North American Grappling Association World Cup in Boca Raton, Fla.
Competing in the gi (jacketed) and no-gi divisions, Rodriguez went undefeated in four matches to win both titles as a 54kg player.
Rodriguez used her judo skills to her advantage, winning each match with either a throw or an armbar.
