USA Judo National Team FORCE to Compete at Kano Cup This Weekend

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - After a successful weekend at the Korea Open and a training camp in Jeju this week, five members of the USA Judo National Team FORCE travelled to Tokyo to compete in the Jigoro Kano Cup, a USA Judo Senior A-Level Point Tournament.
Coming off her silver medal finish in Korea, Junior World Champion Kayla Harrison (Wakefield, Mass. / NYAC) will attempt to earn her first A-Level medal in the 78kg division.
Top-ranked 60kg player Aaron Kunihiro (Wakefield, Mass. / NYAC) also fought for a medal in Korea, but narrowly missed winning the bronze and placed fifth.
A ninth-place finisher at the Olympic Games in the +100kg division, Daniel McCormick (Wakefield, Mass. / NYAC) also will be returning to competition after placing seventh.
Reigning Senior National Champion Bobby Lee (NYAC / 73kg) and Aaron Handy (100kg), both of Wakefield, also will be competing this weekend.

Men's 60kg and 66kg
Women's 78kg and +78kg
Saturday December 13
Men's 73kg and 81kg
Women's 57kg, 63kg and 70kg
Sunday December 14
Men's 90kg, 100kg and +100kg
Women's 48kg and 52kg
