Team FORCE Athletes to Compete in Korea This Weekend

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - Five athletes from the USA Judo National Team FORCE program in Wakefield, Mass. will compete at the B-Level Korea Cup at the Halla Gymnasium in Jeju this weekend.
Aaron Handy and Daniel McCormick (NYAC) will fight in the 100kg and +100kg divisions, respectively, on Friday.
Handy advanced to his first B-Level medal round at the British Open in 2007 while Olympian McCormick has extensive international experience, but is a newcomer to major Asian competition.
On Saturday, Kayla Harrison (NYAC) will compete in her first event since becoming the third American to win a Junior World title as a 78kg player just over a month ago in Bangkok.
Harrison will be joined by Senior National Champion Bobby Lee (NYAC / 73kg) and Aaron Kunihiro (NYAC) who placed seventh in the 60kg division at the 2008 Junior Worlds.

Friday December 5
Men's 81kg, 90kg, 100kg and +100kg
Women's 48kg, 52kg, 57kg
Saturday December 6
Men's 60kg, 66kg, 73kg
Women's 63kg, 70kg, 78kg and +78kg
