Rule Change Testing to be Conducted at 2009 Junior World Championships

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - On Aug. 21, the International Judo Federation Executive Committee passed a docket of three major rule changes that will be tested at the 2009 Junior World Championships, Oct. 22-25 in Paris.

These changes include revisions to existing rules on leg grips, the reduction of on-the-mat referees from three to one and modifications to the Golden Score system.
