Team USA Wins Three Medals at Pan Am Championships in Kata Division

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - Team USA won three medals on Saturday in the kata (forms) division of the Pan American Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Karen Whilden (Vienna, Va. / Hui-O Judo) and Diane Jackson (Silver, Md. / Hui-O Judo) won a gold medal in the Ju-No-Kata division and a bronze medal in the Nage-No-Kata division.
Claudia Smith (Cypress, Texas / Houston Budokan) and Carla Martin (Houston, Texas / Houston Budokan) won a gold medal in the Katame-No-Kata division.
