World Team Training Camp Held at USA Judo National Team FORCE

(Wakefield, Mass.) – More 100 athletes participated from six nations participated in a World Team Training Camp at the USA Judo National Team FORCE site in Wakefield last week.  

Athletes participating in the week-long camp included 15 members of the U.S. Team that will compete at the Senior World Championships from Sept. 9-13 in Tokyo next month.  The event also included athletes from Canada, Israel, Brazil, Sweden and Guatemala. 

The camp was lead by an international contingent of elite coaches, including Jimmy Pedro (Methuen, Mass.), Nick Gill (CAN), Danielle Zangrando (BRA), Marie-Helene Chisholm (CAN), James Pedro, Sr. (Salem, N.H.), Serge Bouyssou (Hope, R.I.) and Carrie Chandler (Wakefield, Mass.)
