Athletes to Compete at National President’s Cup Championships in Grand Rapids This Weekend

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – More than 125 athletes from around the United States will compete at the USA Judo National President’s Cup Championships on Saturday and Sunday in Grand Rapids, Mich. 

Athletes competing in this senior elite event will have the opportunity to earn C-Level points on the USA Judo Senior Elite National roster in the nation’s most prestigious senior event during the summer season. 

Competition will be held at DeVos Place, 303 Monroe Ave. NW

In addition to senior elite divisions, competition also will be held in novice, masters and visually impaired divisions. 

Competition schedule is as follows:

Saturday, June 26
9 a.m.
Senior Women’s 63kg, 70kg, 78kg and +78kg
Senior Men’s 81kg, 90kg, 100kg and +100kg

Masters and Visually Impaired Divisions

  • Connor Murtha (Boulder, Colo. / Team FORCE / 60kg), 2009 Senior Pan Am medalist at 55kg
